WHO IS TEACHING?
Caitlyn Deeter Kyle Patterson
Caitlyn fell in love with Swing Dancing many years ago here in Wooster. After spending a couple years here and there, she found herself still very much in love with swing dancing and studying at OSU ATI. She began traveling throughout Ohio, before expanding her dance base to other states that had amazing dance partners! Wanting to spread her passion for swing and blues - mostly blues - and never wanting to stop dancing during the weeks she wasn't traveling (which is now a rare phenomena) she began ATI's Swing Dance club, where she regularly teaches lessons in Blues, East Coast, Lindy Hop and Charleston. She's very excited to teach outside of her club, and continue to spread her love for everything Swing! Get ready to laugh often and find a new love in your Swing and Blues style!
While Kyle is relatively new to the dancing scene, he has already started to make a name for himself, by being elected as the President of Purdue Night Train, and by DJ’ing for his home scene since the end of his first semester dancing. About a year after he took his first swing lessons, he began teaching at Purdue and is the current Intro to Swing lead instructor for the club. Kyle quickly fell in love with the dance community, travelling extensively as a dancer and DJ throughout the Midwest (who needs a weekend off, anyway?). Look forward to some sweet tunes and an exciting atmosphere as Kyle brings his ever descriptive onomatopoeia teaching style to Wooster!
